“ Stopped for a drink on the way back to the hotel and was glad that we did. Very cute and cozy restaurant/bar. They had a great band playing outside, Elizabeth I believe, and we stayed for a few sets because of how well they played. We opted for some rum punch drink specials which went very well with the sunny day sitting outside on the deck. We didn’t eat but saw a few items come out that looked good. Great place to enjoy some cocktails and music. We will try the food on our next trip through the area. ”

“ Canoe has renovated the old building and it looks great! We went in the off season and they have recently opened. They are young and eager to grow and please their customers. We had a few drinks and shared a burger. It was a lovely experience. The menu is small but but purposefully that way. Can’t wait to see what they bring to the Lake Lure area. ”

Brunch currently is only on Sunday, and recommend confirming opening times- ex today should be open till 9 but sign outside says will close at 8. Their music is very mellow and they have a nice vibe for a relaxing meal. Huge specialty drink menu. ”
